This past weekend, we watched "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"

Before I say anything more, I will warn you, I am in fact *gasp* a Transformers FAN. *faint*

LOL

Okay, so this movie was amazing. I absolutely fell in love with it. The Transformers had more personality than in the first. There was more action and alot more amazing special effects. Jetfire cracked me up - my brother even explained the type of jet he was and it fit perfectly with his clunky old self "I'm too old for this crap" there's just something insanely hilarious about a giant alien robot saying that.

And, yes, Arcee was pink - but what did people think? They'd change that just because everyone was sick of the female robot being pink? (I read too many things from fans being all upset because Arcee was pink - sorry, it didn't bother me in the least, she kicked butt, okay?).

The designs of the original Transformers (the really really really old ones) were wicked. I couldn't believe how freaky looking the Fallen was.

Constricons making that funky looking giant Transformer was amazing.

I won't say much more on the subject. Just know that I suggest you see it, even if you wait for the DVD. It's a good movie, especially if you like action movies that you don't worry too much about the storyline. (and I like storylines - but I also like action... and cool cars, of course ).

I also saw Star Trek (this was a coupld of weeks ago). Needless to say, even if you never watched an episode of Star Trek a day in your life, you'll probably like this movie - as long as you like sci-fi, that is.

Bones - hilarious. I'm sorry, but a doctore who works for STAR Fleet on a STARship being afraid of SPACE is just funny.

Spock - dead on with the attitude.

Kirk - *snort* How could I not have guess that he'd be like that as a kid and young man?

Scotty - transported Archer's prize beagle to who knows where, need I say more? (alot of people probably won't understand that, even when they see the movie - if you want, I'll explain it a little better)

O'hura (I misspelled her name, I'm sure) - I never knew... and I won't say it on here.

Sulu - Samurai man!

Checkof (Now, I KNOW I misspelled his name) - Russian accent so deep the COMPUTER couldn't understand him.

There's more - I just can't think tonight

Anyway - those are the only two movies I've gone anywhere to see this year - not a real huge suprise with me.
